Any item you purchase via GoChef you are consuming at your own risk. GoChef is not responsible for sickness or signs of food poisoning, dizziness, diarrhea or constipation. Consuming anything from the service providers offered on GoChef are consumed at your own risk and GoChef is not held responsible by the menu, acts or service providers using the GoChef platform. Supper club, users are members of the GoChef supper club with access to our supper club entities. Users pay the dining fee associated with the supper clubs list fee per meal they are offering.

  • Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assignee’s, licensees, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, vendors, business partners, owners, and professional advisors from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including without limitation court costs, collection costs, and reasonable attorney fees) related to (i) Your Content, (ii) your unauthorized use of the Properties, or products or services included or advertised in the Properties; or (iii) your breach of these Terms.

 

  • Data Fees

Data, messaging, or other ISP and carrier fees may apply in your use of the Properties.

 

  • Changes to the Terms

GC may modify these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we will notify you by making the revised version available on this webpage, and will indicate at the top of this page the date that revisions were last made. You should revisit these Terms on a regular basis as revised versions will be binding on you. Any such modification will be effective upon our posting of the new Terms. If you do not agree to, or cannot comply with, these Terms as modified, you must stop using the Properties and, if applicable, cancel your account. You understand and agree that your continued use of the Properties after any posted modification to the Terms indicates your acceptance of the modification.

 

  • Interpretation

The section and subject headings in these Terms are included for reference only and shall not be used to interpret any provisions of these Terms. These Terms shall not be construed against us on the grounds that we conducted or arranged for the drafting of the Terms.

 

  • Governing Law/Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Washington and the United States. Any controversy or claim relating to these Terms or the Properties shall be submitted to the judicial courts located in Los Angeles County in the State of California. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. You must commence any legal action against us within one (1) year after the alleged harm initially occurs. Failure to commence the action within that period shall forever bar any claims or causes of action regarding the same facts or occurrence. WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU HEREBY WAIVE YOUR RIGHTS TO A JURY TRIAL.

 

  • Severability

If any provision of these Terms is deemed unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable by a judicial court for any reason, then that provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms, and the remainder of the Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

Reviews are approved based on the following criteria:

 

RELEVANCY

Reviewers must have had a first-hand experience with the restaurant.

 

ACCEPTABLE CONTENT

We can reject and remove any comment without warning or explanation. We’re not going to as long as you follow our guidelines, but we do reserve that right. As for those guidelines:

  • No offensive language.
  • Discrimination based on the grounds of race, religion, gender, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation or disability will not be tolerated.
  • Referencing illegal activity is not okay.
  • Competing restaurants are not allowed to post negative reviews. Violation of this policy will result in permanent removal from our site without a refund.
  • Allegations of health code violations are not acceptable.

 

NOT ENDORSED

GC does not endorse reviews, and they do not represent our views. We also don’t assume liability for the content of any review.

 

OWNED BY GC

We own all reviews exclusively and forever. We have the right to reproduce, modify, translate, transmit and distribute all materials relating to reviews. We are under no obligation to pay you for your reviews.

If you are located in a country embargoed by the United States, or are on the U.S. Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Nationals you will not engage in commercial activities on GC (such as advertising or payments) or operate a Platform application or website.

 

GoChef does not guard or assume care, custody or control of your home or kitchen or its contents and is not responsible for fire, theft, damage or loss. The user alone is responsible for what your body reacts to. If ever in doubt or questionable, consult with your physician before any consumption. GoChef provides these terms as your user contract and for disclaimer purposes. As with anything consumed elsewhere, if feeling unsettled, consult with your physician immediately.
